About Us
Amplifying content using renewable energy
Paza Sauti, derived from the Swahili term meaning ‘to amplify a sound or voice,’ is a project initiated by the Orwa Ojodeh Foundation. Our mission is to transform written content into narrated formats, reaching communities and individuals with limited or no internet access, as well as those who are unable to read or write. In essence, we bring written words to life through narration, ensuring that vital information reaches everyone.
We collaborate with a network of recording studios and deploy portable recording booths to hard-to-reach areas throughout East and Central Africa. In these locations, narrators produce content in the local dialects of the targeted communities, and ARE finally uploaded into mini solar powered audio players for distribution.
