About Paza SAUTI

Paza Sauti turns written information into spoken audio, recorded by human narrators in local African languages. From audio Bibles to civic education, health guidance and livestock training, we help churches, NGOs and communities reach people who are off-grid, cannot read, or are blind or visually impaired. Our solar-powered players work anywhere, with no internet, or electricity needed. Paza Sauti is a project of the Orwa Ojodeh Foundation, a non-profit based in Kenya.

Why we exist

The barrier: Across East and Central Africa, essential knowledge is mostly written down. From health guidance and farming manuals to scripture and constitutions, this information remains out of reach for millions of people who have no internet, no electricity, or never learned to read.

Our purpose: We exist to make sure no one is left behind. We turn written information into human-narrated audio in local African languages, from the audio Bible to practical training. Using durable solar-powered players, we bring life-shaping knowledge to off-grid, low-literacy and blind communities. We believe anyone who can listen should be able to know.

Who we serve

Rural communities with no data or power, adults who did not have the chance to learn to read, pastoralist communities, and blind and visually impaired listeners, for whom audio is often the most accessible format.
